Accredited Commercial Energy Manager (ACEM) Class

Date: October 14, 2019 - October 18, 2019

This 4½-day workshop provides energy managers with a thorough overview of the many factors that affect commercial energy consumption as well as a foundation for identifying energy-saving investment opportunities. The overall objective of this training is to prepare attendees to perform commercial energy audits and provide energy management services to South Carolina’s commercial sector and State of South Carolina governmental facilities.
Attendees should have a proficiency in high school general math and Algebra I, must be willing to study roughly three hours each night, and will be asked to complete basic homework assignments.  Attendees may register for the entire week’s course, or any individual day(s) as desired. The complete course will conclude with a final exam on October 18th to obtain the ACEM certification. We are pleased to announce the following lineup of course instructors:

  • October 17th – Lighting and Energy Economics: Bill Lawler
