Back by popular demand, the Boiler Efficiency Institute will lead a training course on steam plant improvement. The objective of this course is to develop the participant’s ability to recognize cost-saving measures in a steam plant, and then to implement the necessary changes to realize these savings. The measures to be explored include low up-front cost, operating and maintenance procedures, fast payback heat recovery, cogeneration projects and equipment modification projects.
COST: $25
The Office of Regulatory Staff-Energy Office has contracted with the Boiler Efficiency Institute to provide this training. The course fee is usually $795, but due to the support of the ORS Energy Office, these programs are offered at a drastically reduced rate of $25.
This course is worth 12 Professional Development Hours (PDHs). Certificates for PDHs will be presented to all participants upon successful completion of the workshop.
